Water-treatment work. Nottingham City Homes is jointly procuring on behalf of all current and future members of Efficiency East Midlands for the Water Treatment (Legionnaires Bacteria Control). The contract period will be for 12 months with the option to extend annually up to a further 36 months.

Efficiency East Midlands is a new consortium of affordable housing landlords operating predominantly in the East Midlands. The 15 founders are: Nottingham City Homes Ltd, Derby Homes Limited ,A1 Housing, Newark & Sherwood Homes, Ashfield Homes, Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing, Tuntum Housing Association, Nottingham Community Housing Association, Mansfield District Council, Gedling Homes, Rykneld Homes, ACIS Group and Chesterfield Borough Council, LHA-ASRA, Derwent Living and Corby Borough Council. The current members are responsible for the upkeep of approximately 135,960 properties. All current members are therefore to be regarded as contracting authorities for the purpose of this procurement exercise and entitled to enter into the contract describe in the contract notice.

VI.3.2)Lodging of appeals: Efficiency East Midlands will incorporate a standstill period, following award of the contract. The period shall commence on the day following award notification, and shall be in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2006, and all amendments and directives. At present, the standstill period shall be no less than 10 calendar days. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing before the Framework Agreement is entered into. Applicants have 2 working days from notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working days before the end of the standstill period. Such information should be requested from the address in Section I.1
