4. Description: Sheltered housing construction work. Fire-prevention installation works. Nottingham City Homes is a non-profit making organisation run by a Board of non-executive directors made up of councillors, tenants, leaseholders and independent members.

We are responsible for looking after day-to-day management of approximately 30 000 homes and just over 1000 leasehold properties. All the properties are wholly owned by Nottingham City Council.

Nottingham City Homes¿ objectives include providing good quality, affordable and well managed housing that meets the need and aspiration of current and future customers, delivering good quality, value for money housing services and improving customer satisfaction with opportunities for involvement and quality of our service.

Nottingham City Homes invites you to tender for the provision of Sheltered Scheme Disabled Access and Fire Prevention Works Labour Only Contract. The contract period will be for 14 months and work is expected to be completed by the 31st March 2013 with an option to extend up to a further 12 months.

More than one Contractor may be appointed onto the contract to provide sufficient resources across the described scheme.

The successful contractor(s) will be expected to complete all work to the given specification and will be measured by agreed KPIs.
